Australian driver Mark Webber, who is a member of the Grand Prix Drivers Association, said it was unacceptable that two dogs had been allowed to run onto the track while lead up G2 race was in progress.
One of the animals was hit by Bruno Senna, killing the dog and badly damaging the right front suspension off his car.
Obviously its turned out to be horrible for the dog, and it could have been horrible for Senna as well, Webber said during an interview with SpeedTV.
We had two dogs in two different parts of the circuit. I appreciate that its a massive venue, but it needs to have control of all the boundaries. Its very, very dangerous.
